Privacy Policy

TaliCompanion is a Chrome extension and companion iOS app that records Flesh and Blood games played on Talishar.net so you can review them later. This page describes what we collect, why, and how you can remove it.

1. Data we collect

Account information. You can sign in with Google (in the Chrome extension and iOS app) or with Apple (in the iOS app). The provider shares your email address, your name, and a stable account identifier with us, which we use to create and identify your TaliCompanion account. If you sign in with Apple and use “Hide My Email,” only Apple’s private relay address is shared. We never see your password. We do not request, store, or display your profile picture from either provider.

Talishar identity. While you are signed in to both TaliCompanion and Talishar in the same browser, the extension reads your Talishar handle from Talishar so that games you save are tagged with your verified in-game name and so we can match you against other TaliCompanion users.

Game data. When you click Save on a completed game, we upload a detailed record of the match to your account. This includes both players’ Talishar handles, the heroes played, the result, and a turn-by-turn record of the cards you played, the damage dealt and taken, and the actions you took during the game. We do not record your opponent’s hand or arsenal contents. Games you do not save are kept only in your browser and cleared when Chrome closes.

Profile data. Any username you choose, your rating and rating history, your per-hero win/loss totals, and any friends you add on TaliCompanion.

2. What we do not collect

• We do not log your IP address, browsing history, or activity on any site other than talishar.net.
• We do not collect payment information. TaliCompanion is free.
• We do not run advertising or marketing analytics.
• We do not train machine-learning models on your data.
• We do not sell or share your data with third parties for their own use.

3. Where data is stored

TaliCompanion data is stored on Google Cloud using Firebase. Google processes data on our behalf as our cloud provider. See https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy.

4. Who can see your data

• You can see all of your own data in the TaliCompanion iOS app.
• Other signed-in TaliCompanion users can see your TaliCompanion username, Talishar handle, display name, and current rating so they can add you as a friend or view your rating as their opponent.
• Opponents in games you save cannot see those saves. Your saved games live under your account only.
• We (the TaliCompanion maintainers) have administrative access for debugging and abuse response and do not read your game data except when investigating a specific report.

5. Third parties

TaliCompanion uses Google / Firebase for authentication and data storage, Apple’s Sign in with Apple service for iOS authentication, and reads Talishar’s own public login endpoint to learn your Talishar handle. The extension and iOS app do not send any TaliCompanion data to Talishar or to any other third party. We do not run advertising, analytics, or crash-reporting SDKs.

6. Your rights

• View your data — everything saved to your account is visible in the TaliCompanion iOS app.
• Delete a game — discard in the extension popup before saving, or delete it in the iOS app after saving.
• Reset your stats — Settings → Reset All Stats in the iOS app deletes every saved game, win/loss record, and rating.
• Delete your account — in the iOS app, go to You → Settings → Delete account. This immediately removes every game, rating, friend edge, and your sign-in record. Or email talicompanion.support@gmail.com and we will delete your account and all associated data within 30 days.

7. Retention

We keep your data until you delete it or request account deletion. Unsaved game state in your browser is cleared when the browser closes.

8. Children

TaliCompanion is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

9. Changes to this policy

If we change what we collect or how we use it, we will update this page and note the change in the Chrome Web Store listing.
